The Hero 12 Black is the workhorse of the GoPro line: 5.3K video, HyperSmooth stabilisation and a body you can take underwater without a housing. The vertical-friendly 8:7 sensor means one take can be cropped for both a widescreen edit and a phone-shaped one.
