Seagate Expansion Portable Drive

The Seagate Expansion Portable is the least complicated way to add storage to a laptop, a desktop or a console. It is a 2.5-inch drive that runs entirely off the USB cable — no power brick, no software to install, nothing to configure. Plug it in and Windows or macOS mounts it within seconds.

It ships formatted as exFAT, so the same drive reads and writes on both Windows and Mac straight out of the box. The USB 3.0 connection gives you full transfer speed on any modern port and falls back to USB 2.0 on older machines.

It also works as extended storage for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Connect it to the console to install and play PS4 games directly from the drive, or to move PS5 titles off the internal SSD and free up space.
